John Gray from Drogheda, Ireland, is the winner of the International Poker Open 2010, after defeating a field of 1.293 players over three days of play. 121 of them find themselves in the money on the final Day 2.
The €180 + €20 buy-in International Poker Open competition saw a wide array of pros, semi-pros, amateurs, celebrities and Internet qualifiers that created a total prize pool of €252,740. Here are some of the big names who competed into the IPO event: Marty Smyth, Neil Channing, Surinder Sunar, Liam Flood, Paul Marrow, Andy Black, “Mad” Marty Wilson, Padraig Parkinson, and Jessie May.
“I feel great, it's a bit surreal,” John Gray said a few moments after he had won the competition. “I don't know what to think, I can't believe it, but it will probably sink in tomorrow.”
The final table positions and payouts were as follows:

Running between 15th to 17th of October, the Boylepoker.com International Poker Open took place at the Regency Hotel Dublin, Irleand and became the largest poker tournament in Europe.
