The Monaco iGaming Awards

On the 11th of October, the Monaco Igaming Exchanges has held the Monaco iGaming Awards ceremony, to reward the best operators of the online gaming and betting industry. The inaugural ceremony took place at the Blue Gin Bar, part of the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel.

The nominees at the Monaco iGaming Awards were judged based on their reputation, bonus prizes, visitors, graphics, navigation, reputation registration, look, etc. The winners were determined by a large group of voters formed of online gaming experts, industry insiders and journalists from general and specialized press.

Pari-Mutuel Urbain (PMU) and the Vienna listed online gambling giant Bwin dominated the inaugural Monaco iGaming Awards ceremony. PMU received three awards and six nominations, and Bwin received three awards from three nominations.

The Awards Categories, the Nominees and Winners were as follows:
1. The nominees for the 'Best Operator of Online Gaming': BetClic, Bwin, PartyCasino, PMU.
The winner: BWIN.

2. The nominees for the 'Best Operator of Online Sports Betting': BetClic, Bwin and PMU.
The Winner: BWIN.

3. The nominees for the 'Best Operator of Online Races Betting': PMU, William Hill, Zeturf.
The winner: PMU.

4. The nominees for the 'Best Operator of Online Poker': Full Tilt Poker, Pokerstars, Winamax.
The winner: WINAMAX.

5. The nominees for the 'Best Operator of Online Casino': 888, Partouche, Partycasino.
The winner: 888.

6. The nominees for the 'Best Operator of Mobile Gaming & Betting': Bwin, Ladbrokes, PMU.
The winner: BWIN.

7. The nominees for the 'Best TV Advertising Campaign of Online Gaming & Betting': PMU, Pokerstars, Winamax.
The winner: PMU.

8. The nominees for the Special Award RueDesJoueurs.com: 'Best Operator for Responsible Gaming 2010': Betclic, PMU, Sajoo.
The winner: PMU.

The Monaco iGaming Awards ceremony was held under the patronage of Prince Albert of Monaco and it lasted for three days. The event also featured roundtable debates and discussions on financial strategies and merger-acquisitions operations, on the online poker industry, on the American gaming market, on the online mobile betting market, etc.
