PokerStars has announced the launch of two new poker tournaments: the First National Poker Tournament in Mexico and the Balkan Poker Festival in Bulgaria.
The First National Poker Tournament will be held at the Mexico City's Casino Life del Valle. The new tournament will run from August 19th through August 22nd and it will begin with a maximum capacity of 300 players. 90 of the 300 players will advance to the semi-finals, while only 10 of them will compete at the finale table. The lucky winner of the grand final will win $1 million Mexican pesos ($78,000) and a seat in the Latin American Poker Tour Grand Final in Argentina, set for September 22nd through September 26th. Unprecedented fact, the tournament will be played exclusively on electronic tables!
You can enter the First National Poker Tournament via $10,000 + $1,000 pesos direct buy-in, through free daily qualifiers on PokerStars.net, or via live daily satellites at the casino.
Finally, the PokerStars Balkan Poker Festival will be held in Varna, Bulgaria, at the Grand Hotel Casino International at the Golden Sands Resort, from September 2nd through September 5th. The Bulgarian tournament will have a maximum capacity of 200 players and it will feature a €900 + €90 buy-in.
PokerStars will be running daily qualifiers for prize packages which will include the buy-ins, the hotel accommodations and cash for expenses.
