Sal Piacente of Brooklyn, New York, is a card trick pro, who presented his scams at the Global Gaming Expo Asia in Macau. He suggested that casinos should take cheating more seriously in the Chinese province.
At the Global Gaming Expo Asia, the man showed he can pull a sleight of hand so fast that even the security cameras are unable to detect the scam. He revealed an ace by false shuffling a pack of cards, without even being detected.
Sal Piacente, 46 year-old, attended the Global Gaming Expo Asia for promoting his security firm. He said the casinos need to take staff training more seriously, because a “properly trained employee will beat a million dollar system every time”.
He also warned that: “This is big money here. And the industry is growing so fast that it's hard to find good help.”
“I always knew how to cheat, I just never did,” he added.
Sal Piacente has worked with more than 70 casinos and law enforcement agencies as an advisor on detecting and preventing cheating at the table. He is a 25-year veteran in the gaming industry.
