Theo Jorgensen has recently won the WPT Grand Prix de Paris Main Event, after defeating a field of 247 players over five days of play, at the prestigious Aviation Club de France. The total prize pool was of 2,347,797 million!
He took down the title and the 633,902 first place prize. The 36 year-old man entered the final table with a massive chip advantage of over 1.5 million. He looked like the favourite to take the first prize.
Along with the title and the fantastic prize of 633,902, Jorgensen has won a $25,000 seat at the Party Poker WPT World Championship.
Among those who fought for poker glory in Paris, paying up to 10,000 entry fee were: Antoine Saout, Andrew Feldman, the Aussie Millions Main Event winner Tyron Krost, Men The Master Nguyen, PokerStars pro Bertrand Elky Grospellier, etc.

The next WPT series will be held in Barcelona, Spain starting from the 19th until the 23rd of May.
